Arghorithm (arghorithm.com) is the personal portfolio of Argho Das, showcasing technical art, software, and games such as Snow World, distributed via the browser at arghorithm.com and, where published, via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This policy explains what information Snow World and the rest of the site collect, and how it's used, and applies to every version of the game (web, Android, iOS).
Snow World does not require you to create an account, enter an email address, or provide your name to play. What is collected:
The browser version of games hosted on this site (such as Snow World at arghorithm.com) may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance. The Android and iOS app versions do not currently display ads or include any advertising SDK; this policy will be updated before that changes.

Snow World offers optional in-app purchases (e.g. cosmetic items or upgrades). On Android and iOS, these purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing or the Apple App Store respectively — Arghorithm never sees or stores your payment card, bank, or Google/Apple account details. Our server only receives a purchase receipt/token from the store, which it verifies with Google/Apple before granting the item to your anonymous player account. In the browser version, purchases (where enabled) are processed by a third-party web payment provider under the same no-card-storage principle.
No personal data is sold. Device and gameplay data are not shared with third parties except as needed to serve ads on the web version (see above), process purchases through Google Play / the App Store, or operate core game functionality (e.g. our own game and leaderboard servers).
The browser version of this site and its games may use cookies, browser local storage, or IndexedDB to remember your device identifier, session tokens, and locally saved progress, and to support ad serving. The Android/iOS app versions use equivalent on-device app storage instead of cookies. You can clear these at any time through your browser or device app settings; doing so may reset in-game progress that hasn't been synced to our servers, or sign you out of your anonymous player account.
Because sign-in is anonymous (no email or password), we cannot delete an account based on personal information you never gave us. To request deletion of a specific player's data (device identifier, saved progress, scores, and purchase records), email us using the address below with the display name shown in-game (e.g. "NeonBuck467") or the approximate date/device you played on. We will locate and delete the matching server-side record. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone; it does not affect purchases already fulfilled by Google Play / the App Store, which are managed by those stores directly.
This site and Snow World are general-audience products and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — the anonymous device/account identifiers described above are not personal information and are not used to identify or contact a child. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the contact form, please contact us so it can be removed.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, which under CCPA can include the device and cookie identifiers described above when used for personalized advertising. We do not sell personal data for money, but ad personalization is treated as "sharing" for this purpose. Use the control below to opt out at any time — this applies the same non-personalized-ads setting used for EEA/UK consent.
This policy may be updated as new features (such as in-app purchases) are added. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
